- Name: Underwater Superhero
- Location: A Tent, Kruger National Park, South Africa
I'm a coral reef ecologist by training but am now heading to South Africa to study herbivorous terretrial megafauna (big animals that live on land and eat plants). The name of my blog comes from a friend of mine who after hearing that I was living underwater in the world's only undersea research station said "You are my underwater superhero friend".

Hey, Deron, that picture of the lion's injuries is gross! Did you guys put antibiotic on it or do you just ignore it? Yuck!
